Colorado Municipal Clerks Association (CMCA) Annual Conference

 

Over 100 Municipal Clerks representing cities and towns across Colorado are expected at this annual conference. We are excited to hold this year's conference in-person in beautiful Snowmass Village, Colorado!

    • Extra cost for Ashcroft Ghost Town bus ride.

CMCA Member – Regular Rate $750 August 1-September 30, 2023

Includes:

Tuesday, October 17

  • Pre- Conference Athenian Dialogue
    • Greenlights - Written by Matthew McConaughey - Published in 2020

    • Matthew McConaughey’s memoir, Greenlights, shares his experiences and the life lessons he has learned. Greenlights explains McConaughey’s philosophy for being on the right path and his mindset on dealing with life’s barriers.  Greenlights an easy and fun read, but is filled with ideas on how to handle the challenges in your life.

    • McConaughey approach to living shows you how enjoy a state of success in your own life.

  • Afternoon in Aspen
    • Arrive to the mountains Tuesday afternoon to check-in, get settled in the beautiful mountain town and take the bus to explore Aspen, the next door ski resort town and year-round destination for outdoor recreation and celebrity sightings.

Wednesday, October 18

  • Conference Sessions Begin
    • Featuring Keynote Speaker, David Snow - From the heights of the Seven Summits to the peaks of business success, David Snows’ global experiences as a mountaineering guide and entrepreneur have helped him master the skills of effective leadership, teamwork, communication and trust. By taking One Step Beyond and changing the way we approach our roles within our work and family environments we can persist through any challenge to achieve our own personal summits.
  • Exhibitor Booths Open
  • Wednesday Evening Activity
    • Dinner at Home Team BBQ
      • Three options for transportation:
        • Bus ride to Maroon Bells for picture and quick viewing, followed by bus ride to group dinner
          • Cost included in conference registration and Daily Rate-Thursday
          • Guest ticket option available, but Conference attendees will be prioritized if maximum number of 120 attendees is reached
        • Bus ride to Ashcroft, a former silver mining ghost town features the restored remains of several historical buildings, including a saloon, post office, and hotel. This includes a tour that will share the stories of the boom town that once rivaled Aspen.
          • Additional cost for this selection for conference attendees and Daily Rate-Wednesday
          • Guest ticket option available 
        • Bus ride directly to dinner from the Viewline Resort, leaving at later time

Friday, October 20

  • Final Conference Day
    • Featuring Closing Keynote from HeadQuarters (formerly Aspen Strong) Executive Director, Angilina Taylor. 
      • Angilina brings passion for mental health to the Executive Director position based on lived experiences and is devoted to being a part of the movement to change the conversation around mental health & wellbeing. Before making the switch into the nonprofit sector Angilina had 17 years of business strategy and development experience leading and inspiring teams in the product creation market both as a corporate leader and an entrepreneur.
